Darrington Quarries Ltd is a long established quarrying company operating in Yorkshire. Our six limestone quarries are situated close to the A1 from Doncaster in the south to Tadcaster in the north. We also have a sand quarry at Hensall.

We offer a full range of limestone aggregates for road construction, house building, concrete production and civil engineering, all in compliance with our BS EN ISO 9001:2008 Quality System.

Your orders are received and processed at our offices at Darrington Quarry and transmitted electronically to our outlying production units. Delivery progress is monitored at the order office directly from the weighbridge computers.

Compost


We operate compost plants throughout the UK, and compost over 100,000 tonnes every year.

The compost produced finds a variety of end users; restoration of our own landfill sites, some is returned to our local authority partners, and, increasingly it is used for the manufacture of top quality soils and bagged compost for the retail sector.
