Moore Nature Reserve is a 200-acre site in Warrington, north Cheshire. The reserve consists of five large lakes surrounded by extensive woodland, meadows and wetlands, made accessible by a network of paths and bird hides. Its many habitats provide a home for a variety of birds, mammals, insects, plants, amphibians and fungi. The reserve is open to the public at all times, 365 days a year. Moore Nature Reserve is managed by wardens for the Waste Recycling Group Limited

* Damage to Nest Boxes at Upper Moss Side
Tree sparrow boxes and barn owl boxes have been damaged and eggs taken from the Forestry Commission site to the west of Moore Nature Reserve.

Two attacks have taken place, the first occurring on Monday 21st and Thursday 24th April, the second occurring on the following weekend. The tree sparrow nest boxes were damaged beyond repair.
