Target 45+ will provide new facilities to help increase recycling and composting to 45%.
Composting is a vital part of recycling, saving waste from going to landfill and producing useful soil improvers to reduce the need for peat based products.
WRG is bringing forward proposals for new composting facilities at Gallymoor, near Holme upon Spalding Moor. The new facility, which will be completely enclosed, will take organic waste and use it to produce compost for use on local farms.
