A Little Light – a new short film about the benefits of energy from waste
Taking the example of a little girl using a small light to read her favourite bedtime story, this film illustrates the benefits provided by EfW plants across Europe – energy that’s recovered from the waste that we all produce. The film’s makers, the Confederation of European Waste to Energy Plants (CEWEP), say that if we could use the waste that is not suitable for recycling, but is still landfilled in Europe today, then we could provide power for as many as 14 reading lights in every household every day.
WRG are supporting a new TV and cinema advertising campaign aimed at encouraging everyone to recycle more of their household waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Click to view the film, and click here to read more about the initiative.
